This Seminar is targeted to minority researchers in the early stages of their career. This activity will include presentations from Dr. Hung Tseng, PhD from the National Institute of Health and Dr. Donald Frazier, PhD of the University of Kentucky National Institute of General Medical Sciences program. Upon completion of this seminar, attendees should be able to: 1) identify funding sources/agencies and determine which one is the most appropriate for a specific proposal; 2) understand how proposals are reviewed and what reviewers expect; and 3) learn how to build a fundable grant proposal.
